Project Overview:
Pennsylvania Chemicals is a world-scale facility that will use ethane to produce 1.6 million tonnes of polyethylene per year. The project will involve up to 6,000 workers during its construction and is expected to employ 600 permanent employees when completed. The ethylene / polyethylene complex will be located in the Ohio River Valley north of Pittsburgh. It comprises an ethane cracker and three polyethylene units, plus OSBL including a gas-fired combined cycle cogeneration unit and a large storage-in-transit rail yard.
 
Position Duties/Responsibilities - Subject but not limited to:
 

Operating as part of the project Document Management team the Document Management Technician will report to the Project Document Management Supervisor or Project Document Management Lead and be responsible for maintaining / supporting project’s document management system and procedures
Utilizes the standard Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), InfoWorks, to register, control, distribute, transmit, file and archive project records. 
Ensures project schedules are met with regard to processing documents. (24-48hr) turnaround
Ensures documents are properly accessed, stored, and retrieved as needed.
Maintains effective communication with other project team members, the client, and field personnel to ensure quality and schedule
Keeps informed of department technologies, techniques, and services.
Works well in a team environment.
Maintain strong organizational skills, and attention to detail which is imperative.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high energy team environment.
Execute the printing and assembly of various print requests.

 
Basic Qualifications

2-3 years document management/administrative experience is desired
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, i.e Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, InfoWorks, or similar Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
Demonstrates strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and to accuracy.
Ability to work on own initiative
Experience of reporting 
Sophisticated written and oral communication skills 
Must possess and demonstrate ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high energy, team environment.
Should be dependable and adhere to work ethics


Grade 22
Responsible under general direction for one or more administrative functions.
Supervises personnel assigned to area of responsibility.
May coordinate work between project, departments, client and project management.
May function as project administrator on small project or study.
Grade 21
Responsible under general direction for one or more administrative functions.
May function as project administrator on small project or study.

Additional Information
Work includes the following: walking in and around a construction site, walking on uneven surfaces and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress). Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.).
