Purpose and Objective: SAP America, Inc. seeks an Expert Support Engineer at our office location in Plano, TX (and various client sites nationwide) responsible for working with Premium Engagement customers, such as SAP MaxAttention Or SAP Active Embedded/Attention.
Expectations and Tasks: Provide customers with a long-term relationship with better access to SAP for topics related to operation and the adoption of digital innovation in their SAP centric solutions. Ensure that the right services are delivered at the right point in time. Act as a link to all relevant SAP departments and the SAP Partners for all phases of the customer lifecycle. Work with and understand the needs of the main stakeholders in the IT department. Understand the underlying business requirements of a customer, including understanding the “real-live” business of the customer with its requirements coming from the customer’s customers, the competitive market situation, the partner eco-system and the requirements of the end users. 80% travel required to various client sites nationwide. Telecommuting available.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field of study and 7 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 5 years of experience.
Work Experience: Experience must involve 5 years in the following: Technology Support Service and technical analysis, including Early Watch workload analyses on SAP Systems NetWeaver; SAP Basis experience, including security principals; Root Cause Analysis within both ABAP and Netweaver/Java stacks, including SQL RCA; Change Management Framework for SAP Systems E2E200 (Change Management); SAP Deployment Projects support in multinational organizations, including scoping of support plans, packages, and coordination of support activities, from the design phase through the go live and post go live support phases; Managing delivery of Support Services to Business/IT customers; Positioning support methodology and services to new engagement areas for business development; and Development/Functional implementation experience in SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) and/or Finance. 80% travel required to various client sites nationwide.
