Purpose & Objective of Position
The CoE (Center of Expertise) provides high-quality support services in the framework of Premium Engagements and Enterprise Support for SAP customers.
Our methodology is to engage proactively and efficiently with our customers. The objective of the methodology is to holistically understand customer’s situation, and jointly define an action plan and its benefits to improve customers’ operations and safeguard their implementation projects. CoE develops best practice solutions and operations and establishes these during delivery at our customers.
The STEM CoE program allows high school students to get hands-on experience with SAP’s latest technologies while receiving a full range of trainings including business, technical and soft skills training. Students can expect to learn a range of SAP products and services and participate in developing exercises for the next 2017 summer professional orientation week.
Selected participants must be available to participate in the summer SAP STEM CoE Orientation week, which takes place July 27th through July 31st 2020 via virtual platform.
Expectations & Tasks
The selected candidates must be willing to be mentored, take direction, and execute objectives in a collaborative team environment
Candidates must participate in prerequisite trainings and meetings in order to gain insight on our company standards and processes, technologies and services
Currently enrolled in a high school preferably upcoming Sophomore, Junior or Senior
GPA 3.0 or higher
STEM Background Science and Math or strong interest
Interested in pursuing a future major in university and career in a STEM related field
Adaptable, proactive, and willing to learn
Collaborative and team-oriented
Excellent communicators in English (additional languages a plus)
Experience in one or more programming language a plus (e. g. JAVA, C++, ABAP).
